Qualifications

  • Completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology Program or equivalent.
  • Must hold current license to work in Rhode Island.
  • Must hold current ARRT certification.
  • Advance ARRT Mammography certification preferred.
  • Maintain MQSA and ACR QA/QC requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mammography exams with proper anatomical positioning and technique to ensure diagnostic quality.
  • Provide patient explanations to reduce anxiety and ensure comfort and safety.
  • Instruct and mentor mammography technologists; participate in training and performance evaluations.
  • Schedule and manage patient flow to maintain efficient operations and QA compliance.
