Job summary

Memorial Hermann is seeking a Senior Imaging Technologist to lead the Mammography section, ensuring MQSA compliance and high quality patient care in a busy hospital setting. The Lead Technologist provides clinical expertise, operational leadership, and interdepartmental coordination to support imaging services across the center.

The role requires 5+ years in imaging in an acute hospital, graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and current ARRT licensure.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of prior experience as an imaging tech in an acute hospital setting.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in all aspects of department operations.
• Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients with others to perform job functions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MQSA and administrative duties to ensure center compliance.
• Lead imaging team, coordinate clinical operations and throughput.
• Mentor staff and maintain high quality patient care standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to optimize workflows.
