Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology; Graduate of a mammography program.
• Licenses/Certifications: BLS; Texas MRT license; ARRT-R; ARRT-M.
• Experience/Skills: Ability to safely lift and mobilize patients with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography radiographic exams ensuring radiation safety and image quality.
• Explain procedures and position patients for exams; prepare patients for imaging.
• Enter and monitor patient data; perform quality assurance on mammography equipment.
• Assist with accreditation processes and address equipment or patient safety issues.
