Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Senior Imaging Technologist Lead to oversee imaging operations within the hospital's Imaging Services department. Qualifications

• Five (5) years of imaging tech experience in an acute hospital setting
• Demonstrated leadership skills in all department operations
• Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients with others
• Excellent technical skills with imaging across CT, MRI, mammography, ultrasound as applicable

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct activities between diagnostic testing and nursing staff to ensure rapid patient flow
• Directs departmental throughput and assigns staff
• Ensure safe care and adherence to evidence-based procedures and quality standards
• Coach, mentor, and oversee staff performance and development
• Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives and operate within budget specifications
