Job summary

Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Breast Center is actively seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to support a full-time capacity. Four years of Mammography Tech experience is required for Senior.

The position offers a 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. schedule with 4x10 hour shifts, plus occasional Saturdays, and opportunities for overtime; newly renovated facilities support 5 mammography rooms, 2 ultrasound rooms, and 1 Dexa room.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Graduate of an approved Mammography Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Performs mammography radiographic exams with proper radiation safety.
• Maintains patient flow and delivers high-quality imaging in the department.
• Acts as a mentor and resource to staff and introduces new techniques.
• Performs quality assurance on mammography equipment and monitors alarms.
• Schedules technologists to meet patient volume; manages supplies.
