The Johns Hopkins University seeks a Sr. Manager, Donor Advised Funds and Philanthropy to lead a high‑net‑worth donor program, cultivate major gifts, and expand unrestricted and strategic philanthropic support across DAR.

You will manage a portfolio of top prospects, partner with senior leaders, and develop individualized engagement strategies to increase giving and build a durable pipeline. In this role you will secure gifts of $100K+, work with board members, and coordinate with university

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of professional level related experience.
• Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Responsabilités

• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of new and existing major gifts donors.
• Develop and execute personalized cultivation strategies to engage and build relationships with an assigned portfolio.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement fundraising goals.
• Determine annual work plan goals and track fundraising activity in the CRM.
• Prepare and present compelling proposals to secure major gift commitments.
• Create and lead planning of major development events including advisory board meetings and lectures.
• May supervise staff and mentor colleagues to achieve goals.
