Jonus Group is seeking experienced Major Case Consultants to join a Specialized Claims team. This fully remote role focuses on managing complex, high-exposure claims across General Liability, E&S, Alternative Markets, and Cyber Claims, with opportunities for Senior roles based on experience.

You will independently investigate, evaluate, negotiate, determine reserves, and guide litigation strategies, while mentoring others and coordinating with underwriters and reinsurers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.
• JD preferred; legal and claims experience highly valued.
• Designations such as CPCU or AIC strongly preferred.
• Experience handling complex, high-value insurance claims involving significant legal exposure.
• Proficient in complex claims negotiation, settlement strategies, and dispute resolution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate complex high-severity claims.
• Analyze policy coverage and liability to guide resolutions.
• Establish reserves based on exposure assessments.
• Develop litigation strategies with defense counsel and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior claims professionals and share best practices.
• Collaborate with underwriting and reinsurers for risk evaluation.
• Prepare detailed claims reports and coverage analyses.
• Lead cross-functional teams across jurisdictions.
