Job summary

Jonus Group seeks experienced Major Case Consultants to lead complex, high-exposure claims across General Liability, E&S Programs, Alternative Markets, and Cyber Claims. Roles include Senior Major Case Consultant with strong negotiation and litigation skills.

Position is fully remote and emphasizes strategic claims resolution and cross-functional collaboration. The team will mentor peers, improve training and workflows, and coordinate with underwriting and reinsurer partners to refine policy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• JD preferred or equivalent legal/claims background.
• CPCU/AIC designations strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate complex, high-severity claims.
• Analyze coverage, liability, damages, and exposure to develop handling strategies.
• Establish reserves based on exposure assessments and judgment.
• Develop litigation strategies and coordinate with defense counsel.
• Manage multi-party litigation across jurisdictions and advise teams.
