Job summary

Jonus Group is seeking a highly skilled Major Case Consultant to join Specialized Claims in a fully remote position. The role involves leading investigations, evaluating exposure, negotiating high-value CGL claims, and guiding resolution strategies across disciplines.

The ideal candidate will have extensive litigation management experience, a Bachelor’s degree (JD preferred), and industry designations such as CPCU or AIC are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; JD preferred.
• Experience analyzing complex claims with high exposure.
• Strong negotiation and litigation management capabilities.
• Ability to mentor and develop claims professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex case investigations and negotiate high-value claims.
• Analyze coverage, liability, and financial exposure with reserving focus.
• Manage litigation strategy and direct counsel as needed.
• Mentor and develop other claim professionals.
• Evaluate training programs and claims handling standards.
• Provide reporting to underwriting and reinsurance teams; refine policy language.
