Job summary

Gorman & Company, LLC in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician for Ironwood Village, a 95-unit affordable housing community. You’ll perform daily maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances and respond to repair requests to keep residents safe and comfortable.

You’ll conduct property walks, coordinate move-ins/move-outs, complete make-readies on schedule, and prep for seasonal changes while upholding high standards of curb appeal and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of previous experience in property management maintenance, building maintenance, or related trade.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.
• Ability to be the primary on-call Maintenance Technician.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurance requirements.
• Strong customer service skills with a resident-first mindset.
• HVAC-EPA (Type II), or EPA Universal preferred.
• CPO (Certified Pool Operator) preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily maintenance and repairs for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
• Respond promptly to routine and emergency maintenance requests when assigned.
• Perform daily property walks to keep everything clean, safe, and looking sharp.
• Maintain a schedule for the timely completion of apartment make-readies, ensure all apartments scheduled for move-ins are fully completed prior to move-in.
• Coordinate all move-ins and move-outs with the Property Manager.
• Tackle seasonal prep such as fall cleanup.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, & pool to maintain safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal.
