Job summary

Gorman & Company, LLC seeks a Senior Maintenance Technician in Glendale, AZ, to perform daily maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances across Ironwood Village. You will handle on-call duties, coordinate move-ins/outs with the Property Manager, and ensure apartments are ready for occupancy.

You bring 3+ years in property maintenance, knowledge of essential trades, EPA/EPA Type II or Universal preferred, and a strong customer service mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of property management maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.
• Ability to be the primary on-call Maintenance Technician.
• Valid driver's license and insurance eligibility.
• Strong customer service with a resident-first mindset.
• HVAC-EPA Type II or EPA Universal preferred; CPO preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily maintenance and repairs for plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances.
• Respond promptly to routine and emergency maintenance requests when assigned.
• Perform daily property walks to keep everything clean, safe, and looking sharp.
• Maintain a schedule for timely completion of apartment make-readies for move-ins.
• Coordinate all move-ins and move-outs with the Property Manager.
• Tackle seasonal prep such as fall cleanup.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, and pool to maintain safety and curb appeal.
