Job summary

Gorman & Company is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team at Ironwood Village in Glendale, AZ. You will perform daily maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances, respond to requests, and help keep the property safe and inviting for residents.

With 3+ years in property maintenance, you will manage on-call duties, coordinate move-ins/outs, and support seasonal tasks. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits in a mission-driven affordable housing

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.
• Ability to be the primary on-call Maintenance Technician.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet insurance requirements.
• Strong customer service with a resident-first mindset.
• HVAC-EPA Type II or EPA Universal preferred.
• CPO preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain schedule for apartment make-readies and move-ins readiness.

Join our team as a Senior Maintenance Technician in Glendale, AZ!

Do you enjoy hands-on work and making a difference in the community you serve? We're seeking a full-time Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team at Ironwood Village, a 95-unit affordable housing community in Glendale, AZ. You'll play an important role in maintaining the property, responding to repair needs, completing preventative maintenance, and helping create a well-maintained environment for residents.

What You'll Do

• Complete daily maintenance and repairs for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
• Respond promptly to routine and emergency maintenance requests when assigned.
• Perform daily property walks to keep everything clean, safe, and looking sharp.
• Maintain a schedule for the timely completion of apartment make-readies, ensure all apartments scheduled for move-ins are fully completed prior to move-in.
• Coordinate all move-ins and move-outs with the Property Manager.
• Tackle seasonal prep such as fall cleanup.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, & pool to maintain safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal.

What You'll Bring

• Minimum of three years of previous experience in property management maintenance, building maintenance, or related trade.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.
• Ability to be the primary on-call Maintenance Technician.
• Valid drivers license and ability to meet insurance requirements.
• Strong customer service skills with a resident-first mindset.
• HVAC-EPA (Type II), or EPA Universal preferred.
• CPO (Certified Pool Operator) preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
