Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations in Minneapolis, MN. You will provide hands-on maintenance leadership, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, mentor less experienced technicians, and escalate complex issues to partners as needed.

You will use RCA tools, participate in improvement projects, and ensure safety and compliance in a cGMP setting while maintaining equipment reliability and uptime.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial setting.
• Strong troubleshooting in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Hands-on maintenance on production equipment (preventive & corrective).
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components.
• PLC troubleshooting experience and basic control systems knowledge.
• Proficient with RCA tools and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced troubleshooting and leadership to resolve mechanical issues.
• Lead problem solving using RCA, data, and reasoning.
• Diagnose equipment problems and implement long-term improvements.
• Fabricate parts for production equipment as needed.
• Perform IQ/OQ on new equipment and ensure setup accuracy.
• Support line-focused teams on improvement projects and RCA activities.
• Follow Maintenance Planning and Work Execution processes for safe, on-time work.
• Contribute to PM planning and validation of PM plans.
• Use CMMS to create, update, and document work orders.
