Job summary

We are seeking a maintenance technician to work closely with production to ensure quality and productivity, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems, and implementing safety practices to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED. Technical knowledge equivalent to a vocational technical degree.
• Vocational degree/certificate and 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, math, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment that is down or in need of repair.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment with daily, monthly, and annual checklists.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and organized parts room.
• Provide backup to production, warehousing, inventory management, and shipping as needed.
• Develop, implement, and verify SOPs for tasks to optimize performance.
• Be on-call during all production shifts for troubleshooting and travel to plant as needed.
• Maintain effective working relationships with employees, suppliers, and customers.
