Job summary

Federal Express Corporation seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician III to support the maintenance of material handling systems. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and PLC systems, read schematics, and document activities in the EAM system to ensure uptime.

The role requires strong mechanical power transmission knowledge, welding/fabrication skills, and the ability to work with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years in Industrial Maintenance with proficiency in mechanical power transmission, electrical and working knowledge of PLC/Controls and welding/fabrication.
• Certificates in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics or related trades may be assessed by manager/HR for relevancy.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on material handling systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical and PLC/controls issues.
• Read and interpret electrical or mechanical schematics and manuals to diagnose faults.
• Update data in the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system.
• Assist higher-level technicians on complex control system issues.
