Job summary

Federal Express Corporation seeks a Maintenance Technician III to support industrial maintenance of material handling systems, performing preventative and predictive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs across mechanical, electrical and PLC/controls domains.

You will interpret schematics, work with EAM software, and collaborate with senior technicians on complex issues, contributing to safe, reliable operation of the conveyors and sortation equipment.

Qualifications

• Four years in Industrial Maintenance with proficiency in mechanical power transmission, electrical, PLC/Controls and welding/fabrication.
• Certificates in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics or related trades preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative and predictive maintenance on material handling systems.
• Interpret electrical/mechanical schematics to troubleshoot faults.
• Utilize EAM software to enter and retrieve data.
• Respond to sort calls to diagnose problems and repair.
• May develop scopes of work and small project plans.
• May work flexible schedule as needed.
