Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to support industrial maintenance of material handling systems. You will perform preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and PLC/controls issues, and assist on small projects.

A safety-focused approach and ability to read schematics are essential. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 4 years in industrial maintenance, and familiarity with EAM software; certificates in maintenance or

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Certificates in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics or electrical/mechanical trade; associate degree preferred.
4 years in Industrial Maintenance with mechanical, electrical, PLC/controls and welding/fabrication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide preventative and predictive maintenance and repair of material handling systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and PLC/controls issues from schematics and manuals.
Enter and retrieve data in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software.
Work under supervision and may assist higher level technicians on complex tasks.
Develop scopes of work for small projects and support teams as needed.
