Job summary

The NC Department of Adult Correction is seeking a Maintenance/Construction Technician IV (S) to support plant operations across Correction Enterprises facilities. The role ensures adequate technician coverage, maintains equipment, and resolves issues to minimize downtime.

Working hours are Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. Candidates should have forklift operation experience and knowledge of maintenance practices, reading building codes and drawings, and welding capabilities.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation experience.
• Knowledge of maintenance practices for manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret building codes, drawings and schematics.
• Experience using welding equipment.

Responsibilities
