Job summary

The State of North Carolina Department of Adult Correction seeks a Maintenance/Construction Technician III to install, service, and maintain commercial dishwashers and chemical dispensing equipment for the Correction Enterprises Janitorial Products Plant, supporting prisons and state facilities in the northwestern region.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus two years in the trade areas.
• EPA Type I/II/III or Universal certification preferred.
• Experience in customer service and general maintenance required.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and use common hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain commercial dishwashers and chemical dispensing equipment.
• Train kitchen staff and offender operators on proper equipment use.
• Troubleshoot detergent systems and respond to service requests.
• Inspect equipment, maintain records, and submit required reports.
