Job summary

Boeehringer Ingelheim in Georgia is seeking a maintenance technician to maintain and improve pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, including high speed lines, bioreactors, autoclaves, and clean utilities. You will troubleshoot, perform PM tasks, and support cross-functional teams to ensure reliable operation.

The role requires a strong background in manufacturing with pharma exposure, solid problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment, pharma preferred.
• Associates/Technical Diploma with 2+ years experience in manufacturing, pharma preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 1+ year experience in a regulated industry.
• Knowledge of and adherence to EHS requirements.
• Intermediate problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient verbal and written communication.
• Computer literacy and data analytics basics.
• Read blueprints/PIDs.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill work order information in SAP in a timely manner and confirm status.
• Assist in developing detailed training programs and mentor less experienced technicians.
• Independently troubleshoot equipment and contribute to root-cause analysis.
• Support preventive maintenance planning and improvements.
• Assist outside contractors on medium level projects as needed.
• Contribute to cross-functional equipment improvement teams.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies.
• Implement corrective actions for performance issues.
