Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Field Engineer, Operations Maintenance to provide mechanical, technical, hands-on maintenance support for filling, packaging, anaerobe and bioreactor operations. You will troubleshoot, perform PMs, and assist with equipment upgrades and commissioning on site in Missouri.

The role requires a high school diploma and 5+ years of mechanical and basic electrical experience, with preference for technical institute training and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years mechanical maintenance & basic electrical experience in equipment used in bio/pharma or food processing.
• Supervisory or crew/project leadership experience preferred.
• Familiarity with biopharmaceutical production processes and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains production process equipment to support schedules and quality requirements.
• Troubleshoots and implements corrective actions for performance issues.
• Supports engineering projects involving electro-mechanical applications.
• Performs PM activities and ensures proper documentation per SOPs.
