Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Field Engineer, Operations Maintenance in Missouri to support filling, packaging, anaerobe and bioreactor operations. You will troubleshoot equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and assist in design/installation projects for electro-mechanical systems.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of mechanical and basic electrical experience in biopharma settings, with supervisory abilities and strong collaboration skills. On-site role with safety and GMP requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED with additional tech training.
• Five years of mechanical maintenance and basic electrical experience in pharma/biotech settings.
• Supervisory or crew leadership experience preferred.
• Familiarity with bio-pharma production processes and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains production process equipment to support schedules and quality.
• Troubleshoots, implements corrective actions, and upgrades for reliability.
• Provides training to production and maintenance personnel.
• Coordinates with planners to ensure timely work orders and compliant documentation.
• Uses CMMS to document work and manage preventive maintenance tasks.
