Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to join the Global Workplace Solutions team in the United States. You will lead a shift, mentor technicians, and optimize preventive maintenance for conveyors, sortation, scanners, cameras, and SCADA systems. Strong PLC and electrical knowledge are required to support MHE reliability.

You will build work orders in CMMS, collaborate with operations teams, and uphold a safety-first culture while advancing equipment performance and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience working with automated conveyors and controls.
• Proficient using computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
• Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM and Safety standards.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, NEC, and/or industrial electronics.
• Ability to conduct preventative & procedure-based maintenance.
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs.
• 3+ years of work order management.
• Ability to use and interpret statistical equipment to run metrics such as OEE/Up Time to prioritize accordingly.
• Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50lbs. or more.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and continuously improve functionality of MHE and robotic systems.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
• Install, maintain, and solve relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids.
• Lead and mentor work plan for emergency repair of critical assets and training plans for Technicians.
• Build and close out work orders in a CMMS.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with client and Operations Maintenance team.
