The Barrett Apartments in the Kennesaw area of NW Atlanta is seeking an Experienced Certified Maintenance Technician for on‑call duties. The role requires 5+ years of maintenance experience, HVAC certification, and proficiency in plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC certification with Type 1 & 2 or Universal preferred.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.
• Proficient in plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliance repair.
• Proficient with computers and online applications.
• Knowledge of property systems such as Yardi, Entrata and HappyCo preferred.
• Driver's license and auto insurance may be required depending on property.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests and repairs as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Perform make-ready tasks and unit turnover.
• Care for inventory and supplies for the property and management company.
• Bring and maintain personal tools for daily tasks.
• Keep work area, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
• Assist in preventive maintenance projects.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the Service Director.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergencies.
• Communicate positively with residents, vendors, and colleagues.
• Follow safety policies and Fair Housing guidelines.
• Weekend work may be required.
• Other duties as assigned.
