Job summary

Fogelman is seeking an Experienced Certified Maintenance Technician for The Barrett Apartments in the Kennesaw area of NW Atlanta. The role involves completing maintenance requests and repairs to buildings and grounds, with on-call responsibilities and a stipend.

You will bring 5+ years of maintenance experience, HVAC certification, proficiency in plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Three years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC certification (Type 1 & 2 or Universal).
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.
• Proficient in plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliance repair.
• Proficient with property systems such as Yardi, Entrata, HappyCo.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests as assigned.
• Finish make-ready units.
• Care for, maintain and inventory supplies and equipment.
• Provide your personal tools for work.
• Keep the work area, tools and equipment clean.
• Assist in preventive maintenance projects.
• Escalate unresolved issues during on-call rotation.
• Communicate positively with residents, vendors and coworkers.
• Follow safety policies at all times.
• Weekend work may be required.
• Other duties as assigned.
