Job summary

Tricon is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to perform a broad range of upkeep tasks across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general trades at our properties. Ideal candidates bring EPA 608 refrigerant certification, at least five years in maintenance, and the ability to travel between properties.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Certification for Refrigerant Management (Type II or Universal)
• High school diploma or GED
• 5 years maintenance/construction background
• Daily travel between properties
• Must be able to work in environmentally and physically challenging conditions
• Must be able to lift objects weighing 50 lbs or more regularly
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly, compassionately, and with empathy with team members, residents and vendors
• Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with residents and vendors
• Prioritize tasks with AMM-T/CMC throughout the day
• Respond and complete service requests professionally and timely
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Repair HVAC systems including diagnosis, troubleshooting, and component replacement
• Handle refrigerant management and refrigerant line work
• Perform electrical repairs and test circuits
• Inspect and seal ductwork and measure airflow
• Educate residents about issues and maintenance tips
• Repair plumbing fixtures and minor plumbing issues
• Repair or replace doors, windows, and minor hardware
• Test for electrical current and troubleshoot electrical systems
• Document work orders accurately and use tech tools effectively
