Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to join our team in Greensboro. You will handle complex work orders, mentor junior techs, and lead preventative maintenance efforts, with HVAC certification and experience in electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.

A valid driver’s license and leadership mindset are essential. You will ensure repairs meet Hawthorne standards, prepare apartments for new move-ins, and participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in apartment maintenance or a skilled trade such as HVAC, plumbing, or electrical.
• Licenses & Certifications: Valid Driver's License, EPA/HVAC Certification, CPO Certification.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner.
• Repair and restore vacant apartments to make ready status in preparation for the next move-in and per company standard.
• Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning.
• Completion of preventative maintenance according to the guidelines outlined in company policy.
• Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to the maintenance team.
