Job summary

Nimble is seeking a Maintenance Technician II/III to support the in-house facilities team in Merrillville, IN. The position involves electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic system maintenance, HVAC work, welding, and programming of climate control systems.

Schedule is 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, with duties including routine preventive maintenance and participation in an emergency call rotation.

Qualifications

HVAC certified or must obtain EPA 608 Universal within 59 days.
Computer literacy preferred (Google Suite, Microsoft Office).
Experience with snow plowing is required.
Must pass the maintenance test with a minimum score of 75% or contact the Director of Maintenance to schedule a test before posting closes.

Responsibilities

Performs all responsibilities listed for General Maintenance Classification III.
Repairs, maintains and installs electrical systems and equipment such as motors, transformers, and wiring.
Work on systems up to 480 volts.
Repairs and maintains mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and systems.
Repairs heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Welding and brazing as required.
Maintenance and repair of electronic temperature control, alarm systems, refrigeration equipment, and food service equipment.
Computerized programming of Heating and Cooling systems.
Participates in Emergency Call response schedule.
Proficient in Google Suite and Building Control Software.
