Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; EPA Universal Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• 3–5 years of practical experience in commercial HVAC, electrical maintenance, or commercial kitchen equipment repair and maintenance.
• EPA Universal Certification or the ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
• Experience working in a school environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on district HVAC systems including RTUs, chillers, boilers, heat pumps, air handlers, and VAV boxes.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical systems up to standard facility voltages (120/208/480V), including panels, breakers, transformers, and disconnects.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen equipment including ovens, steamers, dishwashers, warmers, walk-in coolers, and freezers.
• Safely operate and maintain a variety of specialized electrical, HVAC, and diagnostic tools while adhering to safety protocols and scheduling constraints.
