Job summary

Nimble in Merrillville, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle building upkeep, electrical work up to 277 volts, HVAC programming, and snow plowing. The role requires hands-on expertise with mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and may include welding duties.

Responsibilities include basic repairs, equipment maintenance, and assisting the Director of Maintenance Services with various tasks. On-site schedule is 6:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. with a 5-day work week.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience preferred.
• Computer literacy preferred.
• Experienced in snow plowing.
• Must have passed the Maintenance test with a minimum score of 75%.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic building maintenance and repair.
• Repairs, maintains and installs electrical systems and equipment such as motors, transformers, and wiring.
• Knowledgeable and confident to work on systems up to 277 volts.
• Repairs and maintains mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and systems.
• Performs basic repair of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning system.
• Performs welding and braising as required.
• Performs computerized programming of Heating and Cooling systems.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance Services.
• Performs snow plowing.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance Services.
