Job summary

Vivmark Residential in San Diego, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join our team responsible for diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and more to keep our community in top condition.

You will handle service requests, prep vacant units, perform preventative maintenance, and support safety policies. This role requires 2-3 years of maintenance experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.
• Strong communication with team members and residents.
• Ability to read and follow maintenance policies and SDS.
• Knowledge of PPE and chemical handling.
• Understanding of emergency systems and basic maintenance tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and related systems.
• Completes service requests and repairs in line with standards and timelines.
• Ensures vacant apartments are rent-ready promptly.
• Performs preventative maintenance on community assets.
• Assists in painting interior and exterior surfaces.
• Maintains safety culture by following Vivmark policies and reporting hazards.
• Performs hot works (brazing, soldering, welding) per standards.
