Job summary

UG2 is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Boston, MA to support building operations and preventative maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and automation systems. You will diagnose issues, help with system design discussions, and assist in maintaining energy management and fire safety systems.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of relevant hands-on experience, familiarity with building management software, and the ability to work varying shifts including after-hours emergencies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of related experience preferred.
• Wastewater treatment license or ability to obtain within six months is preferred.
• Proficient in building management systems and mechanical/electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and trend facilities systems via building management systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical equipment, and systems.
• Maintain HVAC, boilers, and energy management systems.
• Respond to service calls, assisting in safety and general maintenance tasks.
• Communicate status and needs to supervisor and owner representatives.
• Support project work and prepare materials lists for ordering.
• Be on-call for emergencies as needed.
