Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a SR Maintenance Technician for TAMU PV in Prairie View, TX. The role involves performing skilled maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, reading blueprints, and leading project work.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and supervising a team. A Journeyman license or EPA certification as needed, with strong preventive maintenance experience, is preferred. Full and part-time positions available with varied schedules.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience as a maintenance technician in an institutional setting.
• Holds a Journeyman license or equivalent in a trades field (Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, etc.).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read blueprints and models to learn work layout.

Responsibilities

• Constructs, finishes, installs, maintains and repairs electrical and mechanical systems and related facilities.
• Demonstrates advanced diagnostic skills across multiple equipment types.
• Cleans, lubricates, services and diagnoses malfunctions of HVAC and building systems.
• Leads a group of workers on a project.
• Teaches maintenance skills to other department members.
• Updates work statuses, timing and costs using company systems.
