SSC Services For Education is hiring full time and part time Preventative Maintenance Technicians for the TAMU campus in College Station, TX. Positions require 1 year of preventive maintenance experience with a pay range of $16 to $22 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Five years of maintenance technician experience in an institutional setting is required.
• Holds a specialization in one trade with a Journeyman license.
• Must have one of the following licenses: Journeyman Electrical, EPA-certified Refrigerant, Journeyman Plumber, Carpentry, Welding, Steam/Pipefitting, Masonry or Instrumentation.
• Valid driver's license and ability to read blueprints, specs and models.

Responsibilities

• Constructs, maintains and repairs electrical and mechanical systems and related facilities.
• Diagnoses and repairs across multiple equipment types with advanced skills.
• Maintains HVAC, electrical and mechanical building systems and related equipment.
• Leads a group of workers on a project and mentors others.
