Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our food production facility in Utah.

You will perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, mixers, packaging and refrigeration systems, and you will diagnose and repair downtime-causing issues to keep production running smoothly. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, technical education preferred, and at least five years of experience in industrial manufacturing with electrical and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED, required. Technical school education, preferred. 5 years’ related experience in industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in an automated food processing plant.
5 years’ experience troubleshooting and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery such as conveyors, mixers, packaging equipment and refrigeration systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement repairs to minimize downtime.
Respond to emergencies with unscheduled troubleshooting and repairs during manufacturing to prevent disruptions.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory management.
Coordinate with production supervisors and operators to prioritize tasks and ensure safety and efficiency.
