Job summary

CH Guenther & Son LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our food manufacturing equipment and facilities running smoothly. The role covers preventive maintenance on conveyors, mixers, packaging, and refrigeration, plus diagnosing issues to minimize downtime and maintain hygiene standards.

The position requires strong mechanical/electrical skills, PLC/SCADA knowledge, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical school preferred.
• 5 years’ related experience in industrial manufacturing, preferably in automated food processing.
• 5 years’ experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery and facility systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment to minimize downtime.
• Respond to emergencies with unscheduled repairs during production.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the production area per GMP/HACCP.
• Document maintenance work orders, inspections, and inventory.
• Coordinate with supervisors to prioritize tasks and train staff on procedures.
