Job summary

Navistar, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the first shift at the San Antonio manufacturing facility.

You will perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment, ensuring safety standards are followed and downtime is minimized. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, documenting work in the CMMS, and collaborating with engineering on improvements and new equipment introductions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in maintenance, mechanical or electrical field preferred.
• 1–7 years of maintenance experience acceptable in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and use PPE.
• Repair electro‑mechanical systems and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Document maintenance work in CMMS and communicate status to leads.
