Job summary

Chuze Fitness in Lakewood, CO seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep our facilities safe, reliable, and welcoming for members. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, repair fitness equipment, and support cross‑departmental teams to minimize downtime.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 7+ years in a MEP trade, CMMS experience, knowledge of HVAC/Electrical/MEP systems, and strong problem‑solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in a MEP trade, journeyman, or building engineer.
• Experience working within a CMMS with working knowledge of BMS/EMS control systems.
• Working knowledge of commercial HVAC, Electrical / Lighting, and MEP systems.
• Excellent analytical problem-solving.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills.
• Team-based mentality with the capacity to receive and deliver feedback.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be able to visit clubs across the district.

Responsibilities

• Proactively seek opportunities for development by completing all training and applying leadership coaching feedback.
• Establish and maintain cross-departmental communication for repair and replacement needs in spaces and facilities.
• Use CMMS to run reports, monitor and complete work orders, and manage service requests.
• Perform preventive maintenance and identify service needs, prioritizing critical repairs to minimize disruptions.
• Maintain knowledge of HVAC, Electrical/Lighting, and MEP systems.
• Travel within the market to participate in training sessions and meetings, supporting clubs beyond the home club.
• Complete administrative tasks including email management and inventory counts as needed.
• Use BMS/EMS systems to review operations and identify facility needs.
• Oversee outsourcing of complex projects by reviewing pricing and contractor work.
