Job summary

Catholic Charities Eastern Washington is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician III to install, inspect, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems at our Spokane, WA site. The role requires 3–5 years in building maintenance, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of building maintenance experience.
• Proficiency in maintaining and repairing facilities equipment.
• Ability to follow safety standards and building codes.
• Regularly stand, climb, walk, and lift up to 50-100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Address safety and waste management system issues.
• Complete basic facilities maintenance tasks such as painting and carpentry.
• Log and track maintenance activities using a work order system.
• Coordinate with the Property Manager on move-ins and move-outs.
• Supervise contractor work and ensure timely completion.
