Job summary

The role requires strong electrical knowledge (up to 480V 3-phase), familiarity with advanced tools, and ability to read electrical schematics. You’ll be a subject-matter expert and may facilitate workshops while supporting cross-functional teams and site safety efforts.

Qualifications

• HS diploma with 10+ yrs experience or college degree or apprenticeship and 5+ years related to skilled trades or technical field.
• CMRT certification or equivalent accreditation desired.
• Intermediate skills with MS Windows.
• Knowledge and ability to use advanced tools (machine tools, diagnostic tools, predictive tools).
• Electrical skills and knowledge up to 3 phase 480V.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Abbvie’s code of conduct.
• Maintains the function of department assets to ensure reliable equipment and quality standards are met.
• Works closely with Department Reliability Engineering regarding; Maintenance Program development, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis.
• May facilitate various workshops.
• Considered an SME (subject matter expert) in advanced skilled trade disciplines.
• Contributes to developing and delivering technical training modules, OJT's, etc.
• Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization.
• Supports continuous improvement projects and safety initiatives within the maintenance organization and/or the site.
• Understands and follows all safety and GMP regulations.
