Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Senior Maintenance Technician to independently perform advanced technical support in the maintenance department. You will train junior technicians and ensure asset reliability and quality.

The role runs 6am-2:30pm, Monday through Friday, at our facility in Illinois. You will contribute to root cause investigations, participate in reliability-centered maintenance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while following safety and GMP regulations.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or higher with extensive maintenance experience or related certificate.
• CMRT certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Proficient with Windows-based software and common diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to AbbVie’s code of conduct.
• Maintain department assets to ensure reliability and quality.
• Assist in root cause investigation and reliability initiatives.
• Capable of training others on tasks.
• Create or edit maintenance job plans and work orders.
• Interpret and use MS Windows for maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams outside maintenance.
• Support safety initiatives and GMP compliance.
