Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to maintain, service, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems in utilities and facilities. You will work on equipment from lighting to power distribution and motors, with a shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, at our North Chicago, IL site.

You will perform preventive maintenance, analyze equipment with tools, and ensure GxP and safety policies are followed; strong communication and Maximo usage are essential to keep

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 5+ years of electrical maintenance experience.
• Relevant certificate or associate degree with related experience.
• Experience with voltages up to 13,200 V and motors in a facilities setting.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment in commercial/industrial settings.
• Perform preventive maintenance, infrared scanning, and bonding/grounding.
• Communicate status of ongoing work via email, voicemail, and Maximo PM system.
