Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking a Sr Maintenance Technician in Johnston, RI to perform complex preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment and grounds. The role involves carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and other trades under limited supervision.

Responsibilities include inspecting systems, coordinating with contractors, managing maintenance records, and optimizing energy use to reduce operating costs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with at least 4 years of related experience or trade school training.
• Certifications in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair preferred.
• 2+ years of extensive practical experience in Building Services.

Responsibilities

• Complying with applicable codes, regulations, agency and company directives related to building operations and safety.
• Inspecting building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure equipment operates within design specs.
• Overseeing outside contractors for landscaping, snow removal, remodeling, HVAC, plumbing and cleaning.
• Performing repairs, preventive maintenance and documenting maintenance records.
• Reviewing work orders, estimating time and materials needed for repairs.
