Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to lead preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and upkeep of a commercial facility in Warwick, RI. You will maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, and building systems, respond to maintenance requests, and coordinate with contractors on-site.

The role is on-site with a rotating first-shift schedule, requiring strong 5–7+ years of related experience, hands-on skills with CMMS/BMS, and a focus on safety and reliable

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of building maintenance or facilities experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Experience with Fire Alarm systems.
• Experience with Building Management System (BMS).
• Experience with CMMS and documenting maintenance activities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in varied environments.
• Ability to diagnose issues and perform repairs independently.
• Experience using hand and power tools.

Insight Global is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for the preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and overall upkeep of a commercial facility supporting our client in Warwick, RI. This individual will maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, and building systems, respond to maintenance requests, coordinate with contractors, and ensure compliance with safety standards. The position is onsite and operates on a rotating first-shift schedule.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 5-7+ years of building maintenance, facilities maintenance, or related experience
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing:
  • HVAC systems
  • Electrical systems
  • Plumbing systems
• Experience with Fire Alarm systems
• Experience using a Building Management System (BMS)
• Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Strong computer skills and ability to document maintenance activities
• Ability to diagnose issues and perform repairs independently
