Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep buildings and systems running smoothly in Somerville, MA. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and respond quickly to issues to support world-class facilities.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, reviewing work orders, and assisting with installation and modification of building systems. A high school diploma and 1–2 years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or trade-school credential; 1–2 years related experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and follow routines.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook; basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose problems, and repair.
• Assist installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and track completion with available systems.
• Support energy management by ensuring systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
• Follow defined procedures and exchange information clearly under supervision.
• Deliver output by following procedures and processes.
