Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and operation of building systems for a major client facility in Myrtle Beach.

You will lead a shift, provide guidance to fellow technicians, and optimize preventive maintenance for equipment including conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, and SCADA devices. You will work with Automation Engineers and maintenance teams to maximize reliability, build and close work orders in CMMS, and mentor junior technicians

Qualifications

• Experience repairing and maintaining materials handling equipment.
• Knowledge of conveyors and sortation systems.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and improve functionality of MHE and robotic systems.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
• Install, troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, and sensors.
• Lead and mentor work plans for emergency repairs.
• Create and close out work orders in CMMS.
• Foster safe working environment and teamwork.

About the Role

In this vital role, you will support the maintenance and operation of the building systems inside a client facility. As a MaintenanceTechnician IIIyou’llbe a key leader in running a shift and providing guidance to fellow technicians andAutomation Engineersupport partners.

Yourexpertisewill beutilizedin the optimization and execution of the preventive maintenance process, with a focus on maximizing equipment reliability and operational performance of equipment such as conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, print and apply systems, SCADAdevicesand programs.

You will provide our client with expert-level support based on the technical problems related to their MHE systems.

WhatYou’llDo

• Repair,maintain, and continuously improve functionality of materials handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systems throughout the facility.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
• Install,maintain, and solve relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids,etc.
• Lead and mentor work plan for emergency repair of critical assets and training plans for Maintenance Technicians.
• Build and close out work orders in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
