The role emphasizes electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic expertise on high-speed sortation, conveyors, and AS/RS equipment.

The technician will read schematics, perform HMI diagnostics, and ensure NFPA 70E safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
• Minimum 5-7 years of industrial maintenance experience with automated systems.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, motor controls, and automated material handling equipment.
• NFPA 70E electrical safety standards knowledge and industrial safety practices.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and diagnostic equipment.
• Hot work permit certification and experience with Warehouse Control Systems and HMI interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Identify, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical and electrical failures on industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLCs to the I/O level and identify processor faults.
• Service motor control panels, starters, relays, and circuit protections.
• Install and repair sensors, encoders, bar code readers, and VFDs.
• Work safely with electrical systems (12VDC to 600VAC) per NFPA 70E.
• Read schematics and blueprints for troubleshooting and repairs.
