Job summary

Skechers USA Ltd. in Southern California seeks a Maintenance Technician II to perform intermediate maintenance and repair of complex automated warehouse systems, including high-speed sortation, conveyors, and ASRS. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, read schematics, and ensure safety standards.

The role supports minimizing downtime in a fast-paced distribution center with a 3/12 shift (Fri–Sun, 6am–7pm). NFPA 70E compliance and hands-on fabrication may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience with automated systems.
• Intermediate knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, motor controls, and automated material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical failures on automated warehouse systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs to the IO level under supervision.
• Diagnose and repair motor control panels, including motor starters, relays, switches, and breakers.
• Maintain sensors, bar code readers, proximity switches, and dimensions.
• Repair conveyor systems and sortation components; navigate WCS and HMI interfaces.
• Follow NFPA 70E safety standards and use diagnostic equipment during maintenance.
