Job summary

Skechers in Southern California is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join our distribution operations in Rancho Cucamonga. You will perform intermediate maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex automated warehouse systems, with a focus on high-speed sortation, conveyors, and ASRS.

The role requires independent problem-solving and strict safety adherence in a fast-paced environment. The position offers a Friday–Sunday night shift from 6pm to 7am, with a pay range of $24.50–$36.56

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience with automated systems.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, motor controls, and automated material handling equipment.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70E electrical safety standards and industrial safety practices.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and diagnostic equipment.
• Hot work permit certification and experience with Warehouse Control Systems
• Experience in distribution/warehouse operations and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Identify, diagnose, repair/replace mechanical and electrical failures on automated warehouse systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs to the Input/Output level under supervision.
• Diagnose and repair motor control panels, relays, fuses and other components.
• Maintain sensors, bar code readers, and related equipment.
• Repair conveyors, sortation systems, and ASRS components.
• Operate and navigate Warehouse Control Systems and HMIs for diagnostics.
• Follow NFPA 70E safety standards and use diagnostic equipment.
• Read schematics and blueprints to support troubleshooting.
