Skechers USA Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Southern California to perform intermediate maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex automated warehouse systems. Focus areas include high-speed sortation, conveyors, and ASRS with strict safety adherence.

The role requires independent problem-solving to minimize downtime in a fast-paced distribution environment, with pay ranging from $24.50 to $36.56 per hour and a 3/12 shift schedule (Fri-Sun, 6am-7pm).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience with automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical failures on complex automated warehouse systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs to the input/output level under supervision.
• Diagnose and repair motor control panels, including motor starters, overloads, relays, switches, circuit breakers, and fuses.
• Maintain and repair sensors, photo eyes, proximity switches, and bar code readers.
• Replace and wire dual voltage motors (480vac/208vac 3-phase) with brake systems and diagnose speed reducers.
• Maintain and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including compressors, valves, actuators, cylinders, and related components.
• Perform fabrication work using cutting, drilling, and welding techniques following hot work safety standards.
• Maintain and repair multiple conveyor systems and sortation systems.
• Navigate Warehouse Control Systems and HMI for diagnostics and control.
• Read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for troubleshooting.
